Mandala Hospitality Group announced as Hotel Management Company for Sydney Charles Quarter (SCQ) in West Perth

Mandala Hospitality Group is thrilled to announce their latest achievement in securing the hotel management contract for an exciting redevelopment project in West Perth. The Aiden SCQ project is set to open its doors in 2026 and aims to redefine the hospitality experience by seamlessly blending a hotel with community amenities. The 120-key upper mid-scale hotel will operate under the BWH Hotels brand Aiden and is the second to open nationally.

Mandala Hospitality Group has supported the developers behind SCQ, APPL Group, in submitting an innovative application which will transform the site into a dynamic destination, integrating living, working, and leisure. Spanning 2.2 hectares, the plans feature a 120-key upper-mid scale hotel operating under the prestigious BWH Hotels brand Aiden—exclusively the second of its kind to open nationally and the sole Aiden in Western Australia. The unique offering of Aiden SCQ combines apartments and traditional hotel rooms, to cater for a larger portion of the hotel market.

The SCQ will in addition, contain a range of residential offerings, retail, food & beverage, leisure and office spaces all added to the creation of a vibrant and interconnected modern village.

Positioned within walking distance to Northbridge, Perth CBD, and Leederville the soon-to-be-launched Aiden, SCQ is more than just a hotel; it’s a reflection of the community’s spirit and character. Aiden SCQ is located in the heart of The Pickle District, a burgeoning arts district which is the home to various artists studios, cinema and event spaces. As such, art in all of its interpretations, is one of the designing elements
of Aiden SCQ.

Mandala Hospitality Group has taken a proactive role from the project’s inception, collaborating with architects, designers, and advisory teams to assist in vision, showcasing their commitment to every stage of the project’s evolution.

Central to the project is the emphasis on community connection—a value that resonates deeply with Mandala. The SCQ masterplan creates a green space that is destined to the be the heart of the entire village, providing amenities for all which engage and connect its diverse patrons .
